COMMERCIAL ACCESS
Deploy MEU without paying everything upfront
Choose either a five-year zero-interest installment or rent-to-own based on ownership preference and cash flow.
CHOOSE A PATH
First decide when ownership should transfer
These are standard execution frameworks. Amount, total price, tax invoice, security and delivery scope remain subject to approval and contract.
AT A GLANCE
How the two plans differ
Equipment sale + partner financing/installments
Equipment lease + end-of-term purchase option
As defined by sale and financing contracts
Lessor during term; transfers as agreed after performance
Down payment then equal principal over 60 months
Declines annually from year 1 to year 5
0; all other fees must be disclosed
No separate interest; total contractual rent applies
Cannot combine with rent-to-own
Cannot combine with zero-interest installment
5-year zero-interest installment
Designed for customers seeking MEU ownership while spreading purchase pressure over five years.
Standard payment structure
Using formal contract price P: pay 20% × P after signing and commencement conditions; subject to partner approval, the remaining 80% × P is paid over 60 months, with monthly principal of 80% × P ÷ 60.
How zero interest is delivered
- Financing should be provided by a bank, finance leasing company or other appropriately qualified partner.
- Customer contractual interest is zero; funding cost is covered through MODIONIQ subsidy, partner policy or project discount.
- Any deposit, insurance, guarantee, notarization or service fee must be disclosed before signing and cannot be obscured by the zero-interest claim.
Eligibility and risk control
This proposed plan offers terms of up to 60 months, subject to partner and project approval. Availability, down payment and charges are confirmed individually; an assessment is not financing approval.
Rent-to-own with declining annual rent
Pay more rent early, then reduce annual outgo as the project enters stable operation.
Declining rent formula
First disclose total five-year contractual rent R, then allocate 24%, 22%, 20%, 18% and 16% across the five lease years. Each year may be paid monthly or quarterly. The percentages total 100%, leaving no undisclosed balloon payment.
Asset and end-of-term treatment
- During the term, ownership remains with the lessor and the customer receives contractual possession and use rights.
- After all rent and other due obligations are satisfied, the customer may exercise the contractual purchase option and transfer the asset.
- Purchase-option price, invoice, transfer time and registration must be fixed at signing, with no vague final payment.
- Early termination, relocation, damage, insurance claims and site restoration must be covered by contract.
Recommended price disclosure
Where the transaction is substantively finance leasing, an appropriately qualified and supervised leasing partner should act as lessor; MODIONIQ supplies equipment, delivery and agreed support.
From site assessment to operation
Check structure, shading, emergency access and grid connection to define a preliminary configuration.
Review equipment, installation, taxes, insurance, maintenance and software scope in the formal quotation.
Choose one plan; financing applicants provide credit and business documents required by the partner for approval.
Confirm ownership, payment, acceptance, exit and relocation terms before scheduled delivery.
Activate contracted monitoring, alerts and support, with named contacts, service terms and renewal pricing.
Choosing and changing a plan
- Choose one plan per project and equipment batch; installment and rental incentives cannot be combined.
- Before signing, request a comparison of alternatives. Changes after signing follow the contract and require revised costs and approvals.
- You can submit a site before deciding; assess suitability first and confirm commercial terms later.
